CMS or HTML?

One thing is clear: not every shoe fits everyone. Most people consider a CMS to be the better choice. In the web design industry, it has become common practice to recommend CMSs (content management systems) as a matter of principle. Even if this is not always necessary and is basically "overpowered" for many customers. Today, many clients ask for a CMS from the outset because they have heard elsewhere that it is the holy grail. On the one hand, I love working with WordPress, my CMS of choice, but on the other hand, it's not always the best solution. I'd be happy to explain why I think so.
